Women into School Headship

With co-founder Meg Maunder, I set up Women into School Headship (WiSH) in 2006, to address the gender imbalance at senior leadership in education and provide specialist services for women leaders. 

Over the past 20 years there have certainly been changes, and yet many of the themes and structures remain stubbornly persistent. Presenting yourself and your ideas confidently, securing promotion, maintaining wellbeing and balance and overcoming self-doubt continue to be challenges for many women, particularly at times of high pressure.

With long experience working in the education sector I am equipped to support you through your career, bringing knowledge, expertise and understanding of the issues women leaders face. I can help you navigate career challenges, lead effectively with authenticity, navigate power and politics and hone your strategic insights.  You will grow in confidence and create the changes you desire in your working life.
